      • Evaluation of Community Lift Irrigation Project in Odisha, Department of Water Resources.
        • This study aims to explore and examine the current status of community lift irrigation projects in the state, the current implementation mechanism including analysis of institutional arrangements, the bottlenecks in implementation process, and recommend suitable policy/practice level changes for effective implementation of the scheme. The evaluation will also explore the impact of the scheme on irrigation coverage, agriculture production and productivity, cropping intensity, and on socio-economic condition of the scheme beneficiaries. The project will help the Water Resources department of Government of Odisha in reformulating its strategies and make necessary changes in the scheme for its effective implementation.
      • Impact Assessment of Capital Investment Subsidy for Commercial Agri-Enterprises under Agriculture Policy in Odisha, Agriculture and Farmers'       Empowerment Department.
        • The Agricultural Promotion & Investment Corporation of Odisha Limited (APICOL) provides subsidy under the framework of agriculture policy for 63 types of projects in agriculture, horticulture, fisheries and animal resources development. The impact assessment will study the promotional activities APICOL has undertaken for speeding up agri-enterprises tapping the potentials offered by the agro-climatic zones in Odisha. Further the study will aim to understand the functioning and contributions made by poultry, dairy and Agro Service Centres projects for further policy changes/decisions.
      • Evaluation of Canal Lining and System Rehabilitation Programme (CLSRP), Department of Water Resources.
        • The evaluation study will explore and examine the current status of a sample of canal lining projects in the state, the current implementation mechanism including analysis of institutional arrangements; the bottlenecks in implementation process, and recommend suitable policy/practice level changes for effective implementation of the scheme. The project will help the Water Resources department of Government of Odisha in reformulating its strategies and make necessary changes in the scheme for its effective implementation.
      • Third-party Evaluation of the e-Vidyalaya project under ICT@School Scheme, School and Mass Education Department.
        • The ICT @ Schools scheme is being implemented in 4,000 government and government aided high schools in the state of Odisha. The assessment will focus on physical reporting of ICT laboratories including functionality of equipments, specification verification of equipments in the ICT laboratories, class room transaction, teachers’ perception and students’ views, limited to sample schools in Odisha. The evaluation will also elicit responses from teachers and students about their perception on scheme implementation and benefits.
      • Technical Support to 27 Departments for Preparation of Outcome Budget Document for 2018-19.
        • PPOMU has been involved in providing necessary assistance to 27 major spending departments covering important development sectors like social, economic and infrastructure, for formulation of their Outcome Budgets for 2018-19. This year it also carried a training exercise for department officials involved in the outcome budget preparation. PPOMU is providing inputs in terms of finding out gaps in the document and recommending rectification by the concerned departments.
      • Concurrent Evaluation Study of Eight Projects under PMKSY-AIBP Scheme in Odisha, Department of Water Resources.
        • The concurrent evaluation assignment will be conducted with certain specific objectives, which highlights the aspects of the scheme like organizational setup, contractual mechanisms and the quality of the implementation process including bottlenecks, The purpose of the study is a comprehensive review on the overall assessment for the implementation of each individual projects. In this assignment both primary and secondary data will used to bring forth the overall assessment status of the scheme.
      • Preparation of RFP for enhancement of functionalities of DMF-Portal for Planning and Convergence Department.
        • A gap analysis and proposed solution report is in course for enhancing the functionalities of the District Mineral Foundation Portal.
